Jim Fritz is a first-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with over 17 years of training experience. He began his journey in MMA, earning an amateur record of 9–3 and a professional record of 7–2. In 2016, he transitioned full-time to training in the gi and has since established himself as both a competitor and instructor.
Jim is an active competitor and a highly respected teacher, known for his meticulous attention to detail and ability to break down techniques in a way that’s easy to understand. At Kuma, he brings his passion for Jiu-Jitsu to every class, helping students not only sharpen their skills on the mat but also grow through the lessons that Jiu-Jitsu provides in everyday life.
